Mahe to Praslin

Praslin Ferry SeychellesGetting from Mahe to Praslin is quick and easy aboard a Cat Cocos high-speed catamaran – Isle of Mahe or Isle of Praslin. In just 60 minutes you’ll be transported from Mahe's Victoria quayside to the Baie Sainte Anne jetty on Praslin.

Introduced in August 2013, the new Isle of Mahe is a modern 36 metre catamaran with a capacity of 475 passengers split over 3 decks and is the most advanced vessel in the Cat Cocos fleet. The Isle of Praslin, in service since 2006, is slightly smaller, taking up to 350 passengers. But with speeds of up to 36 knots it's the fastest in the Seychelles.

Both vessels offer a choice of Economy classes as well as a dedicated Business Class lounge, air-conditioned cabins and on-board refreshments & entertainment, along with unrivalled levels of comfort at the most affordable rates. Next to all this, both vessels are fitted with Ride Control – a state-of-the-art system that dampens the vibrations caused by choppy seas – to ensure your inter-island crossing will be smooth from start to finish, leaving you relaxed and refreshed when you arrive at your destination.

Mahe to La Digue

La Digue Seychelles FerryIn 2011, Cat Cocos introduced their second high-speed catamaran – Isle of La Digue – to service the route from Mahe to La Digue. Following customer requests for a more direct inter-island service, the Isle of La Digue now operates once-daily from Mahe's Victoria jetty to the Inter Island Ferry jetty in La Passe on La Digue’s north-western coast. Passengers can now comfortably travel from Mahe to La Digue without always having to change vessels.

Passengers should however be aware that this is not a non-stop service. The Isle of La Digue makes a short 20-30 minute stop at Praslin’s Baie Sainte Anne jetty before continuing its journey on to La Digue; passengers should remain on-board during this brief layover.

The Isle of La Digue can carry up to 227 passengers, and although slightly smaller than the Isle of Praslin, it still features all the same levels of comfort and safety. Just like its big sister, the Isle of La Digue has been configured into 3 areas of comfort.
