Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) Terms and Conditions

1. What is CFAR

Cancel For Any Reason ("CFAR") is a refundable fare option offered by Island Bookings B.V., KvK 63689456, Roggestraat 111, 7311 CC Apeldoorn, the Netherlands ("we", "us"), on Seychellesbookings.com (the "Platform"). CFAR changes your booking's cancellation conditions, making it fully refundable up to 24 hours before departure. CFAR is not insurance, is not provided by an insurer, and does not replace travel insurance. We recommend that you take out your own travel insurance.

2. Relationship to our general Terms and Conditions

CFAR is part of your booking’s fare conditions. Our general Terms and Conditions also apply, but these terms take precedence where they address CFAR. We sell travel services individually and do not sell package travel.

3. What CFAR gives you

You may cancel your entire booking for any reason and receive a refund of the Booking Value, provided your request reaches us at least 24 hours before the first scheduled departure in your booking. You do not need to give a reason.

"Booking Value" means the price paid for the tickets, transfers, tours and activities in your booking. It excludes the CFAR supplement and any third-party charges.

Example: tickets €100.00 + CFAR supplement €10.00 = €110.00 paid. Cancel in time, and we refund €100.00.

4. Price

The CFAR supplement is 10% of the Booking Value. It appears at checkout and is included in your booking total and invoice. It is not refundable, except under clause 8.

5. Conditions

  • CFAR can only be selected when you make your booking. You cannot add it later or buy it separately.
  • CFAR applies to the entire booking. You cannot cancel only some passengers, vehicles or services under CFAR.
  • CFAR is linked to the booking and cannot be transferred.
  • If you change your booking, the supplement is recalculated at 10% of the new Booking Value, and we charge or refund the difference.
  • CFAR ends once the first service in your booking has started. Remaining services then follow the Standard Fare conditions..
  • We may limit the availability of CFAR on future bookings where it is repeatedly used to hold several bookings for the same passenger and journey. Cancellations already made under these terms are not affected.

6. How to Cancel

Email office@seychellesbookings.com with your booking reference from the email address you booked with or the lead passenger’s address. The 24-hour deadline is based on Seychelles Time (SCT, UTC+4), and your request must reach our mail server before it expires. You can also submit a request via WhatsApp on +31 (0) 6 16149780; requests received this way before the deadline will also be counted. We’ll confirm the cancellation within 3 business days.

7. Refunds

We issue CFAR refunds ourselves within 14 days of receiving your request, to the original payment method and in the currency you paid. Your bank may take a further 5–10 business days to show the refund. Any amount returned to you through a chargeback is deducted from your refund.

8. Operator Cancellations and Changes

If the operator cancels or significantly changes a service in your booking, you have the rights set out in our general Terms and Conditions. If you choose a refund in that case, we also refund the CFAR supplement.

9. Goodwill and your Rights

We may accept a late cancellation as a goodwill gesture. Doing so in one case does not oblige us to do so in any other case. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under mandatory consumer law.

10. Complaints, Law and Changes

Send complaints to office@seychellesbookings.com, including your booking reference. We acknowledge receipt within 3 business days and respond in full within 14 days. These terms are governed by Dutch law, without depriving you of the protection of mandatory consumer law in your country of residence. You may bring proceedings in the Netherlands or in your country of residence. We may change these terms for future bookings; the version in force on your booking date applies.
