Cat Cocos has been proudly carrying passengers between Mahe and Praslin since 2006. Their modern fleet of high-speed catamarans now operates daily services not only to Praslin but also between Mahe and La Digue. And with the introduction of their newest and most advanced vessel - the Isle of La Digue Star - Cat Cocos now boasts a fleet of four fast ferries; the largest comfortably able to carry up to 475 passengers between Mahe and Praslin.

Online bookings can be made right up to 48 hours before departure. For last-minute ferry bookings, within 48 hours of departure, please contact us. You can pay using your credit card or with your PayPal account through PayPal’s secure online payment system. You will receive your e-ticket for the Cat Cocos fast ferry from Mahe to Praslin or Mahe to La Digue immediately. Date changes are possible depending on availability. Cat Coco's high-speed ferries leave from the Victoria jetty on Mahe. Just present your e-ticket to the CTS (Creole Travel Services) staff at the jetty and they will provide you with your Boarding Pass and assist you in checking-in your luggage. Boarding starts 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time, with the Boarding Gate closing 5 minutes before actual departure. The friendly Cat Cocos crew is then there to welcome you on-board, and provides an unparalleled level of personal service, while always ensuring your comfort and safety.
For travellers wishing to connect directly from/to their International or Domestic flight, a Shared Shuttle Bus service provides Airport Transfers between Mahe Airport and the Cat Cocos jetty in Victoria.
NEW - You can now also book Hotel Transfers (shared service) between the Cat Cocos ferry jetties on Mahe, Praslin and La Digue and each island's resorts, hotels or guesthouses. All transfers must be booked in advance (fees apply).

Getting from Mahe to Praslin is quick and easy aboard a Cat Cocos high-speed ferry. In just 60 minutes you’ll be transported from Mahe's Victoria quayside to the Baie Sainte Anne jetty on Praslin.
The ferry to Praslin departs Mahe up to three time a day and offers a choice of Economy classes as well as a dedicated Business Class lounge, air-conditioned cabins and on-board refreshments* & entertainment, along with unrivalled levels of comfort at the most affordable rates. The ferries are equipped with Ride Control – a state-of-the-art system that dampens the vibrations caused by choppy seas – to ensure your inter-island crossing will be smooth from start to finish.
Travel from Mahe to Praslin aboard the Isle of Mahe Ferry - a modern 36-metre catamaran with a capacity of 475 passengers split over 3 decks and one of the most advanced vessel in the Cat Cocos fleet. The Isle of Praslin Ferry, while slightly smaller, takes up to 350 passengers. But with speeds of up to 36 knots, it's one of the fastest in Seychelles.

The journey time between Mahe and Praslin is approximately 60 minutes. Departing from the Cat Cocos jetty in Victoria, you’ll pass by the Ste. Anne National Marine Park before heading into open water. Leaving the mountainous backdrop of Mahe behind, you’ll speed your way across the Indian Ocean towards Praslin’s Baie Sainte Anne. En-route you can sit back, relax and enjoy the panoramic views and comfortable service* aboard your Cat Cocos ferry. Arrival on Praslin is at the Cat Cocos / Inter Island Ferry jetty in Baie Sainte Anne in the east of Praslin. Transportation connections from the jetty include local buses, taxis and hotel shuttle services.
Travel from Mahe to La Digue with the Cat Cocos ferry. With at least two daily ferry departures in each direction, getting from Mahe to La Digue couldn't be easier!
The Cat Cocos high-speed catamaran – Isle of La Digue Ferry, is the best choice for getting to La Digue. Following customer requests for a more direct inter-island service, the ferry connects Mahe's Victoria jetty to the Inter Island Ferry jetty in La Passe on La Digue’s north-western coast without the necessity of changing vessels.
Passengers should, however, be aware that this is not a non-stop service. The ferry from Mahe to La Digue makes a short 20-30 minute stop at Praslin’s Baie Sainte Anne jetty before continuing on to La Digue; passengers should remain on board during this brief layover. The Isle of La Digue Ferry can carry up to 227 passengers, and although slightly smaller than the Isle of Praslin Ferry, it still features all the same levels of comfort and safety. Just like its big sister, the Isle of La Digue Ferry has been configured into three areas of comfort.

The total crossing time between Mahe and La Digue is approximately 90 minutes, which includes the short layover on Praslin. Arrival on La Digue is at the Inter Island Ferry jetty in La Passe.
With very few vehicles on the island, transportation connections from the jetty are limited. Should your hotel not provide a transfer service for you and/or your luggage, motorised taxis (pick-up truck) are available as well as the more traditional ox-cart taxis.
For day-trippers and those without luggage, bicycle rental agents are located within a few metres of the jetty.
Should you for any reason miss your Mahe/La Digue or La Digue/Mahe departure your ticket will only remain valid for the Mahe/Praslin or Praslin/Mahe part of the journey. You will then have to make your own alternative transfer arrangements for travel between Praslin and La Digue.
Inter Island Ferry operates a regular shuttle service between the islands.

Luggage Allowance
Carry-on/Cabin Baggage
- Each passenger is permitted 1 piece of carry-on/cabin baggage not exceeding 7kg with maximum dimensions of 50cm X 30 cm X 20cm
- Any cabin baggage above this size will be considered checked baggage and will be stowed in the cargo compartment

Accompanied Checked Baggage
- Economy Class - Maximum allowance = 25kg of accompanied checked baggage per passenger
- Business Class - Maximum allowance = 30kg of accompanied checked baggage per passenger
- Multiple pieces are permitted as long as the total weight of all pieces does not exceed the maximum allowance
- If you exceed the maximum allowance, you will be charged an Excess Luggage fee of €3.00 per kilo
Other Baggage
The following items, when used by a passenger, are exempt from additional charges: Prams/Strollers, Stretchers and Wheelchairs
Sporting Equipment
In addition to the standard luggage allowances mentioned above, there is an extra 15kg allowance for sports equipment.
Unaccompanied Baggage
- It is possible to check unaccompanied travel suitcases or bags for SCR 15 per kg up to 50kgs and SCR 30 per kilo above 50kgs
- A Cargo Officer is always available to help with the shipping and loading at the dockside. The owner of the cargo/luggage is responsible for collecting and checking their goods as soon as they are delivered to the next dockside
Airport and Hotel Transfers
Passengers travelling on the Cat Cocos ferry can now book affordable, Shared Shuttle Bus Transfers between Mahe International Airport, or any Mahe hotel, and the Victoria Ferry Jetty on Mahe. Additionally, Praslin Hotel Transfers (shared shuttle bus) are now available to/from the Praslin Jetty, as well as a Shared Taxi Service for transfers between the La Digue Jetty and any La Digue hotels.
From Mahe Airport
- After clearing customs, just look for the Creole Travel Services representatives in the arrivals hall who will direct you to their shuttle bus. Mahe airport is quite small, so you should have no trouble finding the bus
- Only book this service if your flight arrives at least 2 hours before the scheduled ferry departure time
- Buses leave no later than 1 hour before the scheduled ferry departure time
- Should your flight arrive/depart less than 2 hours before/after the ferry departure/arrival time you will need to make your own way to the jetty. Taxis are readily available at the airport
- One way Airport to Jetty: Adult: €10 / Child: €5 / Infant: No charge
To Mahe Airport
- For transfers from the jetty to Mahe Airport, buses leave approximately 10-20 minutes after the ferry arrives - depending on how long it takes all transferring passengers to collect their luggage and board the bus
- Only book this service if your flight departs at least 2 hours after the ferry arrives in Mahe
- The approximate journey time between the airport and the jetty is 20-25 minutes, depending on traffic
- One way Jetty to Airport: Adult: €10 / Child: €5 / Infant: No charge

From/To Mahe Hotels

- Drop-off: The shared taxi service leaves the jetty immediately after the ferry arrives, once all transferring passengers have collected their baggage
- One way Mahe Hotel Transfer: Adult: €16 each way / Child: €8 each way / Infant: No charge

A €10 fee per ticket will be charged.

Delayed or Cancelled Flights
- Any request to modify a reservation must be received within 2 hours from when the airline issues notice of flight delay/cancellation. Contact information can be found on your e-ticket.
IMPORTANT: In all the above situations, any modifications are subject to availability and approval from Cat Cocos' senior management.
Cancellations
All Cat Cocos ferry bookings or shuttle bus transfers cancelled more than 72 hours before departure (in writing) will receive a full refund, paid directly from Seychellesbookings.com (minus any charges applied to make the refund); administration and cancellation charges applied to all cancellations will be equivalent to 10% of the amount being refunded.
For Cat Cocos ferry bookings or shuttle bus transfers, cancelled less than 72 hours before departure, and/or for No-Shows (see below), tickets are 100% non-refundable; although one free date/time change may still be possible, subject to availability, providing that the ticket(s)/boarding pass(es), once issued, are returned to the Cat Cocos Sales office (on Mahe) before the original departure date.
