The newest addition to the fleet
The Isle of La Digue Star is a 33-metre high-speed catamaran and one of the more recent additions to the Cat Cocos fleet, purpose-built for the inter-island routes connecting Mahe, Praslin and La Digue. With a capacity of 300 passengers across two decks and all three travel classes on board, it offers the same comfortable, reliable crossing as its larger fleet sisters.

Departing Mahe, all Cat Cocos ferries leave from the Inter-Island Quay in Victoria. La Digue arrivals are at the Inter-Island Ferry Jetty in La Passe, and on Praslin, at the ERO Passenger Terminal in Baie Sainte Anne.
All journeys to La Digue route via Praslin, with a short 15-minute stopover. Currently, on weekends, there is nonstop service from La Digue to Mahe, reducing the crossing time by over 30 minutes!

Built for the Seychelles. The Isle of La Digue Star is an Incat Crowther design, developed in close collaboration with Cat Cocos to suit local sea conditions and passenger expectations on the Mahé–Praslin–La Digue corridor.
Active ride stabilisation. The vessel is equipped with a Naiad Interceptor Ride Control system that actively counteracts the movement caused by choppy seas, helping to deliver a smoother, more comfortable crossing.
Three classes of travel. All three Cat Cocos cabin types are available — the air-conditioned Coco de Mer main cabin, the open-air Island Hopper upper deck, and the private Lazio Lounge Business Class — each suited to different preferences and budgets.
Designed to stay uncluttered. A dedicated luggage room keeps bags out of the passenger cabin, giving all three classes a more spacious, relaxed environment on board.
Spray protection on deck. Heavy-duty clear panels fitted port and starboard shield the outdoor deck from ocean spray in rougher conditions, with a neat stow system to keep them out of the way on calmer days.
Full safety compliance. Operated under the oversight of the Seychelles Maritime Safety Administration, with a full complement of life safety equipment on board.
